Finally my dream came true yesterday.

Are there other famous places for tourists in Los Angeles?

My English will not improve by only living here.

I decided to pay money for learning Engllish because the rent is much cheaper than I expected.

My friend recommended me to go to extension school.

Yesterday, I tried to take a oral communication class.

About fifteen students take the class and more than half of them are Japanese.

I take the class twice a week untill middle of June.

I hope that my English will improve and I will make friends.

I went to Getty center because my roommate recommended to me.
I checked how to get the bus very hard last night.

Surprisingly, the Getty center is free!
Despite this, there a lot of famous pictures.
I enjoyed watching them.

Next time, I want to go there with my friends.

We have meeting to discuss our research with Professir every Friday.
In addition to making presentation file, I have to write down how to explain it.
I just read the prepared note.
When I asked something by Professor, lab membr tells me what I should answer.
I'm just like a little child!

Learning pronounciation is very imporant to improve listening.
I started to practie how to pronounce since yesterday.

These days, I don't feel that my English is getting better.
I cannnot follow the conversation around me at all.
Although I have to discuss my research with lab members, it is too difficult to make myself understood.

My roommate called me to play basketball this evening.
I was very glad and refleshed.
I'm verry lucky to live with them.
Thanks to them, I can keep a positve mind!

I came back to my home at 10:00 a.m.
All lf my roommates said to me 'You're tough!'
There is no difference between the life in Japan and that in LA, so far.
I should come back earlier!
I want to do something I cannnot do in Japan.

The spring quarter started today.

I saw a lot of people on the way to campus.

In our laboratory, there is no difference between quarter and vacation.

I spent today as usual.

I am making research with one of laboratory members.

He taught me how to use simulation software carefully because I'm not familiar with simulation.

It's fun to try something new for me!

Finally, I saw all roommates.
They are very kind to me, so I'm releived.
I played baskeball and went to gym with them.

Although I enjoyed this weekend a lot, I am warried about my English.
They enjoy talking, but I cannnot join them.
I thought my English would become better by living abroard.
Actually, it depends on my effort whether my English is getting better.

I must not only resarch but also study English.

Today, I went to Venice and Santa Monica beach.

I got on the bus for the first time.

Going to somewhere by bus was more confortable than I expected.

There a lt of people on the beach.

I hoped that someone talked to me because I thought American is so friendly.

Unfortunately, I didn't talk with anyone.

I got my housing last Sunday.

One of my lab member found there for me.

I'm going to live with three Americans, but I live alone now.

They came back to their hometown when spring vacation started.

I have never met them, so I'm looking forward to meeting them.

I hope they will be my English teacher.

I was so moved by the view I saw from the window.
This view excited me because I realized that I came LA.
Although I could not sleep well, I did not feel sleepy at all.

A week has passed since I saw this view.
I am gradually getting used to my life in LA.
I don't have to worry about anything becasue everyone is so kind to me.

I have a lot of things to talk about, but it's very difficult to make myself understood.
I wish I could laugh together.
